Club Med revealed its list of the world’s happiest tourism destinations after compiling data from the 50 most visited tourist spots.
Nine criteria were employed in the survey to assess the cities: general happiness on a scale of 0-100, outdoor activities, day trips, spa and wellness facilities, crime, safety, pollution, and the cost of domestic beer.
Despite not placing top, three American cities—Las Vegas, New Orleans, and San Francisco—rounded out the list.
